Round Bentwood Museum Bride's Boxes |
Round Bentwood Boxes have been used by people for hundreds of years. From as early as the Vikings all of the way up into the 1800's. The Vikings used them for storage while exploring the seas and later on in Germany and Scandinavia they were painted up and given as wedding gifts, hence the name 'Bride's Box'. Today, artists and crafters continue to finish and paint these boxes with beautiful designs and patterns. They make great gifts and unique home décor.
The Round Museum Bride's Boxes have a fitted, light weight Birch bottom which makes them lighter in weight than other Bentwood boxes of the same size. They have a fatter band around the lid. |
