Mary Jo Leisure Decorative Author and Artist

Mary Jo Leisure is a member of the Society of Decorative Painters (SDP) and is the author of several decorative painting books. Her medium is oils and she is known for her beautiful paintings of flowers, roses and combinations of fruits and flowers. Her and her husband built and created Cedar Crest Country Studio in Kansas where she continues to hold painting seminars.

In 1973 Mary Jo was awareded the Certification of Master Teacher, later changed to Master Decorative Artist, MDA. She also has received the first Silver Palette award from the SDP in 1978.
