Odorless Turpenoid

A very popular odorless thinner, cleaner now available in three sizes. Odorless, very volatile, thin, colorless, turpentine substitute. Turpenoid® has the same painting properties and drying time as turpentine but is free from the strong characteristic turpentine odor. Compatible with oil colors as a painting vehicle, either alone or in mediums. Turpenoid® is also excellent as a solvent or paint brush cleaner, and for use in removing paint spots from clothing.Highly refined odorless thinner for oils and varnishes as well as a cleaner for brushes, painting tools and knives.  Contains petroleum distillates.

Turpenoid Natural Citrus

For those allergic to traditional solvents
New citrus based thinner and cleaner for those who are allergic to other types of solvents. Turpenoid Natural® is an extremely effective nontoxic brush cleaner and gentle brush conditioner which rinses out with plain water. Brushes are reconditioned when cleaned with Turpenoid Natural®. It is non-flammable, does not irritate skin or eyes and does not emit harmful vapors. It is an effective painting medium when used within recommended guidelines. Not recommended with Damar Varnish or crystals. Non-toxic, safe, non-flammable, no harmful vapors, no special ventilation required. Pleasant citrus scent.

Mona Lisa Brush Shaper is a great product for you to use to maintain or restore brushes to their original shape! It is a non-toxic product that can be applied to bristles after the brush has been cleaned and all the paint has been removed. Simply dip your brush into the Brush Shaper. It will prolong the life of natural and synthetic brushes without harming the brush or the environment.

Add Graham Walnut Oils to your oil colors to increase flow and to slow drying.  Graham Walnut Oil can also be used to clean brushes, palettes or hands.  Come in 4 oz bottles.  The alkyd based version hastens drying.

Many artists regard Permalba White as the finest white for oils that can be found.  Very opaque, yet will not crack or yellow with age.

 Winsor and Newton English Distilled Turpentine

Pure and filtered, this traditional solvent has a pleasant fragrance.  Light in color with excellent working qualities, evaporates more quickly and is stronger than mineral spirits as a solvent.

Winsor and Newton Damar Varnish

A pale yellow varnish for oil / alkyd / acrylic works.  Dries quickly to high gloss.  Remains resoluble in turpentine.

Winsor and Newton Liquin for Oils and Alkyds

Our most popular oil and alkyd medium.  Excellent for glazing and fine detail, brushing out smoothly yet retaining brush strokes without leveling.

A very pale yellow color produces a temporary, extremely thin wet-looking layer over your dried oil or alkyd work-in-progress.  This makes it easier to match colors as you continue with the work.  Frequently used to protect unfinished work.

Grumbacher Cobalt Drier

Artist's oil medium. Cobalt Drier is an additive for the preparation of artist's oil mediums. Speeds drying. Add small amounts to medium, mix well, test before using.
