Shirley Wilson Decorative Painting Books

Shirley discovered decorative painting in 1971 and quickly became fully involved in its many aspects, attending conventions near and far and taking seminars with nationally recognized instructors whenever possible. Shirley is a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and has been since the early days of the organization. In 1983 Shirley began designing and distributing pattern packets. In 1985 she published her first art instruction book, Merry Christmas Book One, which she co-authored with her friend Jean Myers. As a designer and artist, Shirley is known for a variety of styles and techniques ranging from whimsical to still life, teddy bears, face studies and more.
