Winsor and Newton Professional Artists Canvas is made out of a heavier weight superior quality cloth with a medium grain surface. Ideal for all techniques including heavier applications of color.

• 8 oz. natural cotton duck.
• 13/16 inch deep, staple-free edges can be painted to display finished paintings with or without a frame.
• Ideal for use with oils, water mixable oils, acrylics and alkyd colors.
• Triple coated with acid free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented acrylic primer formulated by Winsor and Newton.
• Balanced absorbency and tooth prevents sinking of oil colors and improves adhesion.
• Professional frame construction with kiln-dried, beveled stretcher bars.
• Stretched by hand for best tension and tailored corners. Ample canvas on the back for re-stretching.

Winsor and Newton Artists' canvas is triple-coated with acrylic primer formulated to keep oil and acrylic where it should be: on the surface. There's no sinking, insuring that color on Winsor and Newton canvas remains brilliant and true. In addition, the canvas and primer have been developed together to offer rigidity (for oil stability) and the ideal tooth for secure adhesion.
Deep Edge Canvas features a clean paintable edge with a depth of
