Unfinished Wooden Bowls

Our unfinished beech hardwood wooden bowls are used by Decorative Artists, Crafters, Wood burners, Restaurants, Cooking Shops, Weddings and everyone else who needs a sturdy container with the natural warmth of wood.
We carry wood bowl sizes from six to seventeen inches. Proudly made in the USA, these handturned hardwood bowls are of the highest quality and are made using the same traditional old world methods that were used 150 years ago. It can take nearly one hundred years for trees to produce the beautiful grain patterns and rich colors found in our bowls.

Wooden Bowl Quality

First quality bowls are relatively round. They do not have any knots or areas with wood filler. They are NOT perfectly round due to the old world traditional methods in which they are turned. We recommend only using first quality bowls with food.

Second quality bowls have rims that vary slightly in thickness or are more out of round than the first quality bowls. They may also rarely have a small filled area or very small tight knot. Not recommended for use with food.

Second Special quality bowls have rims that vary in thickness or are more out of round than the second quality bowls. They may also have a some filled area or tight knots. Not recommended for use with food.

Third quality bowls have rims that vary in thickness or are more out of round than the second special quality bowls. They may also have a tight knots and small holes. Not recommended for use with food.
