Protected by three coats of tough, environmentally friendly, Exterior Poly Urethane Varnish, which is a non-toxic waterbased product.  The same product is used on wood floors, however, we don't recommend walking on your chargers.  Wipe clean and put away.  Please do not subject to dishwasher abuse.
