Haboku Artists Brushes are made with a unique combination of horse hair and some synthetic hairs to increase resiliency in the brush. Haboku brushes produce a very fine or a broad expressive line in the same stroke and come to a 'one hair point' that makes Sumi brushes unique in all schools of painting. The smooth bamboo handle is solid and well balanced.
